Accounting system integration: APIs, exchanges and automation

Connecting your website, CRM, WMS, marketplaces and external services to the accounting system. We put an API in place and replace manual exports and fragile spreadsheet exchanges with a stable data flow.

Stack and integrations
HTTP services OData RabbitMQ Python PostgreSQL
In short
What we build
Integrating external systems with the accounting system: APIs, exchanges, automated exports.
Who for
Companies where the accounting system is the source of truth and the link to the website, CRM or marketplaces rests on manual exports.
Stack
HTTP services, OData, RabbitMQ or Kafka, a Python integrator on the external side.
Timeline
Pilot in three to five weeks, full integration in two to three months.
A good fit when
  • → Manual CSV and spreadsheet exports are a source of errors and delays
  • → The website and the CRM cannot see current stock and prices
  • → Marketplace orders do not reach the accounting system automatically
  • → The accounting system runs on-premise with no external API
What you get
  • → An HTTP API on the accounting side, for reading and writing
  • → Exchange over files, queues or web services
  • → Scheduled jobs for regular synchronisation
  • → Operation logging and alerts on exchange failures
  • → Two-way synchronisation: orders, products, customers
  • → Exchange documentation and handover to your in-house team
Process
  1. 01 An audit of the current exchanges and the system version
  2. 02 Designing the API and the exchange model
  3. 03 A pilot on one direction, with parallel control
  4. 04 Production launch and monitoring
Why not an off-the-shelf product

Custom development earns its place where your processes matter.

Ready-made SaaS is good for standard scenarios. But once the business logic depends on specific roles, documents, integrations, security or data, the cost of the workarounds quickly exceeds the cost of a proper architecture.

We start with discovery, separating what genuinely has to be built from what is cheaper to cover with an existing service. That is why the project ends up smaller, clearer and easier to run.

FAQ

Common questions

Which versions do you work with?

Current trade, ERP, retail and bookkeeping editions. For legacy versions we exchange through files or an intermediate layer.

What does integration cost?

A simple one-way exchange with regular product synchronisation is the entry point. A full two-way integration of website, CRM or WMS costs several times that.

How long does it take?

A pilot on one direction takes three to five weeks. A full two-way integration with alerts and monitoring takes two to three months.

The system runs on-premise with no external IP. What then?

A VPN tunnel, a message bus, or file exchange through an intermediate server. We do not require you to expose the accounting system to the internet.

Can a spreadsheet parser be replaced with an API?

Yes, and it is one of our most common tasks: fragile parsers and exports out, a stable exchange over web services or a queue in.

Is there a real example?

A WMS replacement with two-way accounting integration — stock, shipment and receipt documents. The write-up is on the cases page.

How do we measure the effect?

Time from event to data landing in the accounting system (usually from hours or days down to minutes), the number of manual operations (towards zero), and stock desynchronisation (towards zero).

Are there ready-made connectors?

For common pairs, yes. We take the work when the standard connector does not cover the specifics of your products, documents or process.
